Mill House Bristol Bed and Breakfast is your home-away-from-home, nestled at the foot of the Mendip Hills, just outside the beautiful village of Rickford.

Whether you are a leisure or business traveller, Jackie and Jim Healy are pleased to welcome you to a relaxing and comfortable stay in perfect surroundings. You will enjoy peace and quiet in spacious rooms and a hearty breakfast to get you set up for the day. Rooms can be reserved either en-suite, with private bathroom, or shared bathroom, depending on availability.

The village of Rickford is ideally situated close to Bristol Airport, Bath, Weston-super-Mare, Wells, Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole and Glastonbury. The well-known Chew Valley and Blagdon fishing lakes are also nearby, as are the wedding venues of Coombe Lodge, Aldwick Court Farm and the Lakewood Conference Centre.

On-site free parking is available at Mill House as are free WiFi and television in every room. We also have available a good selection of books, games and DVD's, which guests are welcome to borrow.

There are a number of Pubs and Restaurants in Rickford and Blagdon. The Plume of Feathers pub and restaurant is about 100 meters from Mill House and the Seymour Arms , New Inn and Queen Adelaide restaurants/pubs are all within a five-minute drive.

Breakfast is served between 7.30 and 10am, or we can offer a packed breakfast for guests who have very early flights. Packed lunches can also be available by arrangement.

Check-in is from 4pm with departure by 11am. These times can be varied by arrangement.

We pride ourselves on the quality of our "Full English Breakfast". Orange juice, home-made marmalade and jams, yogurt, cereals, porridge, bacon, sausage, mushrooms, fried, scrambled or boiled eggs and grilled tomatoes are normally available, together with croissants and toast. Where possible, our food is sourced locally.

Guests with special dietary requirements should let us know ahead of time and we will do our best to cater for them.

We are happy to welcome guests with young children. Cots and high-chair are available free of charge, and we have a "Family Room" which has a king-size bed and two single beds in an adjoining connected room.
